- This symposium was formed by a group of English Literature scholars and writers in the 1980s and was founded based on friendship and literary solidarity in the region. This three-day symposium is an INVITATION-ONLY event and is organised to provide scholars and writers a platform to speak and discuss issues which concern the Asia-Pacific region as well as present their current research. This year, IIUM has the honour of representing Malaysia as the host of the 17th biennial symposium. This symposium seeks to investigate various issues which concern city literature in the region. NOTE: Payment is to be made only upon acceptance of papers.
